This was the source of the leak..This plumbing was done 8 years prior to this water loss and what happened was a plumber with a major plumbing company in fargo started to cut the 1/2" copper pipe. Then he realized that was too short and moved his pipe cutter. The end result is what you see following

This water damage resulted in all the flooring being torn out. Over half of the walls and ceilings being torn out but the owner opted to add a new bedroom in the basement and to the right we see what the finished product became
